Hi everybody, we're back with a small update.

We recently installed a new Joomla Comments plug-in so if you want to share something with us (bar reviews, your fondest Brooklyn Moonshine memories or anything else on your mind) you're now able to do so.

We'll be back soon with more updates.

As you're probably aware of, Brooklyn Moonshine, the cheery little dive near the BQE, has closed its doors for a while now. However, the good times we and a lot of people enjoyed there (either on the patio, working the grill during the time BM had that awesome "bring your won meat policy", or inside, cashing in on some of the best beer deals in New York) will live on.

Don't be sad though. Today we're starting a new campaign called "Looking for the new Moonshine" whose main purpose is to find another similar place in Brooklyn where one can find a homey atmosphere, cool bartenders, cheap drinks and, generally, some of those characteristics that made the Brooklyn Moonshine one of the most beloved places to unwind, catch up with your buddies or, why not, even party.

So, we'll be doing our own scouting but in the meantime we'll also accept user feedback. If you'd like to propose a place that you see fit for taking on the name "The New Brooklyn Moonshine" please leave a comment or send us an e-mail and we'll look over it.

In the meantime we'll also be remembering the things that made BM so dear to a lot of people so check back for these little stories, for old time's sake (you're also welcomed to share your stories with us).
